![]() ![]() I hit the top-center button to switch between them when running the software no problem. But for some reason, when I save my profile to the mouse, all customized settings are saved EXCEPT for that button on 1 of 2 profiles. This function works when the profiles are operating correctly through the software. My profiles take the top-center button that's right behind the scroll-wheel release button and change the function from the default battery level check to switching between profiles. Well I can save 95% of a profile to the mouse. So screw the software, right? I can just save profiles directly to the mouse. You just have to turn off auto-switch and abandon them. And you can't delete the "profiles" for them either. So you gotta go to all the compatible games listed and turn off auto-switch on each and every one individually. It is a gigantic bag of garbage that the G Hub tries to be all sleek and cool to auto-switch to a custom profile for each game and if you don't have one created or set, it just sets you with the factory defaults. The game auto-switch settings are opt-OUT when they should be opt-IN. Set it to show a notification with your dpi settings when you change? Switching too quickly for the notifications to come up can make it crap itself and even after you manually un-crap it, the notifications get stuck saying the same dpi level over and over even though your mouse sensitivity is changing. Plugged in the micro-usb to charge? 50/50 chance it craps itself and you gotta go manually un-crap it. Or it craps itself and gets stuck and I gotta manually un-crap it. Mouse falls asleep? Craps itself for like 3 sec and then catches your profile again. ![]() If I unminimize the software, click the mouse settings, and select one of my custom dpi settings, THEN it realizes I have a profile selected and it un-craps itself and I can switch between my custom dpi settings with the mouse buttons again. It says it's using my profile, but it just doesn't use my settings or custom button functions. So the software "crapping itself" is when it just forgets my dpi settings. ![]() I got my G502 Lightspeed for $100, $50 off MSRP, and I'm still starting to feel like it was a waste. ![]() So this software craps itself all the time and I hate it and I'm about to get a new mouse. ![]()
